Life can get sooooo busy. This book is the perfect reminder to focus on gratitude and joy!!!!
Thank you for creating this!!!!!
I am looking forward to sitting down with my girls to do this together 🤗
One Year of Thankful Thursday book is my "mostest favoritist" book of all times, (outside the Bible of course). I just can't tell you without taking up too much space, how much this book has impacted my life and the many with which I have shared this book. I recently received what could have been a devastating medical diagnosis. However my Faith and the weekly Thursday readings have instilled in me a peace which also flows over family and friends. .. most of whom I have gifted "One Year Of Thankful Thursdays" with a specific Thursday marked to which I think the recipient might particularly relate. As odd as it might sound, especially to that Devil guy, I have incredible JOY and HOPE. I know whose hands I am in and I know all will be good. Thank you Susan and the whole Brown family for your faith and obedience and for sharing it with all of us.
I really enjoyed this book of Susan's. It's a lovely part of my morning every Thursday before I go to work. Not only does it help me in my gratitude practice it also makes me think about things on a different level.
As a person myself that has gone through a lot of struggles in life, I try to look for God and keep myself busy in my own world so I don't give up so easily when more life issues happen, but I never paid so much close attention to ALL the gifts that God has put in front of us to see his love and mercy towards me, his beloved child.
Susan made me realize how lucky, loved and blessed I am by reading her book. Most of the time we are so caught up on our routines in life that we don't appreciate all the good things because we take them for granted like AIR for example. We're breathing, but we forget it is a special gift we have, and so on.
After reading the book I found a few favorite sentences, but what I kept thinking about was this one: "He has the best open door policy" I will lean towards God more now because I see all we have is a life full of gifts, blessings and surprises that God still wants us to live.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm glad I got a copy and a chance to connect more with my Lord.
This book totally caught my eye as I do this same thing on social media about Thankful Thursdays. It's so nice to know others are living to the fullest in gratitude. This was written out as if my own heart spilled and Susan picked it up and put it into words! So GRATEFUL for her sharing her gifts that God has given to her and that she in return gives all glory to Him!!
